8 months old and taking little steps
This week I am working on walking. With mommy and daddy's help I can take a couple of steps unassisted before I fall. I have really good balance, but as soon as I figure out I'm not holding on to anything, I drop to the floor because I'm not sure I can really do it. I've stood on my own for up to a minute, but still like to walk along the edge of the couch. Yesterday we visited my grandma when we dropped off Grandma's Avon order. My mommy is the Avon lady. She had fun trying to make me laugh and had lots of toys for me to play with. Today mommy and daddy went to the movies and mommy's friend Tiffany watched me for a little while.

Another day older and another tooth sharper!
I have 8 teeth now and I'm only 8 months old! Speaking of teeth I have to learn that biting people is bad. Its a no no. I bit my friend Julian and made him cry. With these 8 teeth also comes wanting to experience mommy and daddy's food. I've decided to boycott baby food and move right on the real stuff now. Mommy has been having trouble feeding me lately because I just don't like doing anything I can't do myself. Plus its way funner when daddy tries to feed me. I've been having fun pushing my huggies box around the house and chasing after the cat. I will crawl as fast as I can to get to him, but he moves once I get there. Every now and then I'm able to grab a tale or slap kitty

8 months old!
Wow!! I've been out of the womb for 8 months now and things are starting to get exciting! It was just Halloween and yesterday mommy, daddy and Randy set up the Christmas tree! I have no idea what Christmas is yet, but I like the lights, and soon I will be sitting under the tree opening Christmas Gifts! Lately

So the last couple weeks have been fun. Once again, I've heard the word "no" quite a lot. I'm learning what I can play with, and what I can't. I now know what it means and when mommy or daddy say "no" I stop what I'm doing. I've also been able to stand on my own for short periods of time...just a few seconds here and there. Mommy thinks I might be walking by Christmas time. Yesterday I had my first Halloween! I was a monkey!

More of the same.....getting into everything!
I love exploring my house and pulling myself up on things! The couch and mommy and daddy's legs are my favorite things to pull myself up on. My fourth tooth is emerging on the top next to the other one. Nothing new this week except more of mommy and daddy saying "no" to things. Man I hear that a lot! On Friday I had lunch with my grandma!
