On that date I caught a ride in a yacht from Belfast, Northern Ireland across the Irish Sea to Scotland and started hitch-hiking round the world trip. Since then I have been thumbing my way across the globe, vagabonding through Europe, Middle East, including Irak, Iran and Afghanistan all the way to China, Tibet, India, Laos and Thailand... and blogging the whole trip. I believe in peace and interdependence. In my books I portray the hospitality and every day life of distant lands, as well as my life on the road. By selling my books I can afford nomadism.
