ok, so it wasn’t freezing. but it was cold enough to make it even less enjoyable for this guy to get his senior photos done. because he was totally thrilled with the idea in the first place, right? haha! senior guys just don’t love me(or their mothers!) very much during our sessions, but they all seem to politely tolerate us anyway. or i just happen to get all the nice, polite ones daniel was a breeeeeze to photograph tho, so he made it

i am a bad, bad blogger lately…sorry folks! october was the craziest month of the year. crazy busy, which is a good thing. but when one cannot predict the weather it can get a little hairy. i am fervently working on all your sessions, and if you don’t see a glimpse of yours in this post please don’t shoot me. they are coming, lots of new posts coming soon. i’m off to a newborn/family session today, so here is a tidbit for some of you… the jackson family: i totally think this should be your christmas card photo!

little collin turns two!
i just love watching my little clients grow! i’ve seen this cutie several times now, and this month we met on his 2nd birthday. he absolutely adores my daughter, so she is always invited to assist at his sessions.  his momma is my youngest son’s second grade teacher this year too.  we are super happy about that! so of course i expected him to be much faster this time, and he didn’t let me down lol! lightning fast, and of course mom was worried that we’d have a hard time capturing any smiles because he just moved so quick…but he’s n

she is. seriously, sweet as pie. and i couldn’t believe how intelligent this little gal is! blew. me. away.  one of those kids who seems to just be naturally smart. she cracked me up with her big conversations and words, like a little tiny grown up. it was pretty cold the day of her session, but she didn’t complain one bit! she shivered and had icy cold hands, but not a single word about it from her. smart, cute, and tough…my kinda girl.

my, my, my. this girl just totally made my job a piece of cake. she is the master of posing, no doubt. she told me she watches america’s next top model, and well, i am glad she does because it totally paid off during our session. taylor, her mom, and i strolled around kingwood center then headed downtown. and i just have to tease mom a little bit because this was the first time i ever heard this and it just totally cracked me up. at one point during our session, i hear taylor say to her mom: “mom. mom! mom, i’m talking to you please stop text
