Out of my 50 books, 50 movies this year, my 20 must-see, must-read
I just tallied up the number of books I’ve read and movies I’ve watched for the year, and I’m at 50 for each. Last year I read 70 books according to this, which also lists this year’s books read, and watched 68 movies according to this list I compiled on Listography.

I’ve got friends in low places
For this week’s Flashback Friday, during which I try to participate in the Sleeping with Bread meme with these fine ladies, I would like to be short for what I am grateful and not so grateful this week.
Not grateful
The main thing, of course, for which I’m not grateful, is the flu, which I have had since Monday and shows no signs of lessening despite heavy doses of Vitamin D3 as suggested by one online friend (although I do think it’s helping some) and regular doses of Dayquil and Nyquil (definitely helping with the sleep).
