Quick and Easy Buñuelos - Baked not Fried!
Last night I went to a friend's house for dinner where she made some really amazing Mexican food. The whole meal was absolutely delicious, but what really impressed me were her super simple, no-fuss buñuelos. What are buñuelos? They are fritter of Spanish origin, typically consist of a dough that is deep fried and finished off with a sweet topping. The particular buñuelos that we had were not deep fried but baked. They were served right out of the oven, topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and drizzled with just a smidgen of chocolate syrup...oh so good. This recipe was so easy and absolutely scrumptious that I am going to have to make them tonight for my family. T
