8 day old Connor
Little Connor decided that December 6th wasn’t a good date for his newborn session so he came 3 weeks early!   His parents barely had time to look at their maternity pictures before they became a mom & dad!  What a sweetie he was for his first photo shoot and what a lovely family of 3. Congratulations guys, he’s adorable!

Hi Owen, it’s me again!
So I’ve known Owen for 8 months now, last saw him 4 months ago.  He wasn’t too thrilled to see me, the crazy lady who makes him do things different from his regular routine, but we had some fun enjoying the beautiful fall weather anyway.  None of my silly sounds impressed Owen, but he sure found mom & dad hilarious.  What a tight knit family this threesome is, so nice to see! It was great to catch up with you guys R family, Owen is so handsome! See you in 4 months!

Gorgeous mama-to-be
Thank goodness the rain finally dried up today and I was able to spend the afternoon with this fun couple.  We ventured out and despite the dampness and clouds, got some great shots with the remaining fall leaves!  The cool thing about doing maternity sessions with first time parents is not only seeing how excited they are, but knowing that a huge, amazing thing is about to happen to their lives, forever changing them.  And then getting to see them again as PARENTS at the newborn session!   Being the sentimental person that I am, I LOVE my job because of these little details.  I can already tell that these two are going to be awesome parents! Thanks for being such good sports

Adorable one year old
I so enjoyed spending the morning with this sweet little gal.  She reminded me of all that is “one”, the cute words and “talking”, the curiosity and energy.  One is so big, yet still baby, love that age!  And I was so excited to see her adorable outfits too! Urban family
Yesterday I hit Reston Town Center with this family of 5, little did we anticipate that it would be crowded due to the unseasonably warm weather!  We were looking to get some fun urban-ish shots so we just had to dodge the billion other people who were out enjoying the afternoon.  These two little guys were so handsome and in addition to what I’m posting, I have a bunch more cute shots of them goofing around, love those!  Baby sister was such a good sport too and adorable in her outfits!
