Marty's Peanut Butter Bars
Here's a "sweet" recipe that my 17-year-old grandson, Miles, sent me via e-mail last Christmas! [So, you know it must be a hit with the kiddos.] Miles asked Marty, a lady who works with my husband, Dan, for the recipe last Christmas, when Miles visited Dan's office during the holidays. In this post, Tommy shared about the freedom that he's discovered in God's boundaries. Also, in honor of Thanksgiving this week, we focused our Legacy WordBlog WordStudy on the subject of "Thanksgiving" (i.e. thankful or thanks).
Moist Banana Bread
I found this banana bread recipe on a YouTube video provided by Jason Hill of Chef Tips. I especially like it because it was so moist And I think the chef was right--it's all about the sour cream. I enjoyed watching this professional chef cook, since I need some help with my culinary skills these days. Here's a great banana bread recipe!Moist Banana Bread

Tara's Sweet Cornbread
I've decided to start a new category on my blog for recipes in honor of this Thanksgiving season. I think that's an appropriate addition to this BLESSED DiaBlog because recipes are such a vital part of our written family legacy. I've chosen for my first entry a new cornbread recipe my daughter, Tara, gave me a few weeks ago. And since I don't really have an official name for this recipe, I'll just name it in honor of the person who gave it to me--my daughter, Tara.
