Breaking Free is the blog of Covenant Eyes, Inc. In the fall of 2007, Covenant Eyes wanted to join the ongoing online discussion about the sex-saturated Internet. Whether it be pornography, cyber-sex, hyper-sexualized media, or online sexual predators.
Breaking Free is about seeking sexual purity. We believe sexual purity is God’s desire for all humanity, regardless of faith or creed. We believe sexual purity not only pleases God but also blesses those who practice it, because it is how human beings were made to live. Today, because of the sexual content online, we face new obstacles to that purity.
Breaking Free is also a Christ-centered blog. We seek to provide resources on this blog that point to Jesus as the answer to sexual impurity. He alone forgives us and brings us near to God. He alone can recapture the human heart, grant repentance from the idolatry of sexual fantasy, and reorient our lives to worship our Creator. |

Generation XXX - Survey Shows Porn Acceptance and Use Among College Students
About two years ago the Journal of Adolescent Research published a study that examined the attitudes about pornography of 813 university students from six college sites across the US.
