If I cast plaster over my small world would it create
a white inversion of my polychromic chaos?
Could the negatives of cat hairs seem arranged
processional as lines of poetry, and etch
the wet lime inverse with platitudes of order?
What cryptic shapes would come from ball point pens,
remote controls and coffee cups?
A cylinder of air might stand where glasses still with water
waited to be taken to the kitchen; would there be for every ball of lint
and pernicious putrid cookie crumb, hemispheres,
a plethora of holes the size of dried green peas or paper match heads?
