Bandwagon Thanks
I wanted to take the path less travelled, and realize I ended up right in the middle of traffic.
I’d ask you to be fair before you grab the torch and pitch fork… it took me four weeks to put a foot off the ship. I was one of the last to do so. I really didn’t have any other way to go… I picked Denver against San Diego without much foundatio
The Honey Do List
It is going to rule my life this afternoon, and while it’s all for the magnificent cause of my favorite holiday…
… we are always a few moments away from total chaos and mayhem.
As such, I’m going to be quick with it (and to be honest, I’m starting to wonder if most of you wouldn’t prefer it that way… in case you missed it, I tend to be long winded and that can both entertain and annoy). We are skipping the links – it’s a short week anyway – and the buffets – just cut to the chase and spend time on Bill Williamson’s blog at ESP
Is there a Beanstalk in Denver?
Realizing the Giants were next on the plate, I decided to hit up my good friend Mike Farley, the New York Giants correspondent with the Fanball Sports Network (whose work you can find at GmenDen.com), seeking insights and information on the Thanksgiving nemesis for Broncos. I had the pleasure of taking in today’s “game” with my good friend Shawn, a diehard with the most immaculate television I have ever seen. He is the faithful fanatic, I am (supposedly) the objective voice of reason… and I feel safe in suggesting my anger in today’s performance would, by any measure, triumph over his.
Understand I do not claim title as a professional football mind. Those folks are employed by the National Football League,
Mike Honcho
I went to bed at 4am. I woke at 7:30.
You’ve been warned… I’m in a mood. I’m loopy. I’d suggest I’m in my element, but you may disagree. If you are like the better half you are annoyed to no end and have taken to hiding. I’m running on fumes with one sick kid, one workin’ on cabin fever two days into her Thanksgiving break, two dogs with the combined intelligence of an aluminum can, and my lack of focus has done nothing to help.
I like to refer to this alter ego as Mike Honcho… anything could happen and it’s likely to amuse and, on some level, embarrass.
So here is the plan. I’m going to step
