The Strain..
..of reading another book with way too much description. Sigh, and I don’t want to stop reading this story of a vampiric virus rampaging New York. Seriously, vampire stories = good times. Although the convoluted start that alludes to way too much research and an awful amount of character and suspense building is starting to get annoying. Much of it reading like a text book on CDC, hospital, airport and any other procedures that someone can throw in there just to throw in. Is it really vital to the story that I get a full background on every minute detail of the inter-workings of baggage handling or the canary division of the CDC and even the full background of why miners used ca

I don’t want to write a super long diatribe on this, but man, society kills me. I was shopping with my wife the other day, taking advantage of our day off and enjoying each other’s company in a pre-Christmas shopping frenzy. I know, I’m a guy and I am stereotypical for the most part in my dislike for shopping in one sense (wandering aimlessly in the woman’s section) and in the other: it’s always fun to spend money (on things I like). My wife is actually the frugal one: I had to fight with her (not fisticuffs or anything) to buy a new pair of shoes because her shoes have a hole in them. Her excuse, “it doesn’t go all the way through.” Si

Having just had my one year anniversary, I’ve been thinking about a plethora of favorite places for romantical opportunities and the difficulty of finding a truly great romantical (you may say romantical is not an official word, but you’d be wrong, and besides, I like it) place. Halloween Adventures ‘09
Halloween has come and gone and with it all the sugary death I love so much: sad and well I suppose good for me. Yet, it was a wondrous holiday. The kids had a blast and even got a visit from the Great Pumpkin this morning. Yes, the Great Pumpkin lives on and in our household much like the Tooth fairy aka The Molinator he receives a portion of the candy collected and in return gives gifts. The kids get the best of the best of their candies and presents and the Halloween holiday is like the best evar! Candy and presents, who could ask for more. Nate is just starting

3mos, 1yr and the most wonderful time of the year..
Back again, not quite returning at full health from the land of the walking dead, but cured enough that I can be a vital part of society, vital enough. My wife is grateful that I no longer have to be quarantined, and what timing. Last Sunday was our day of days, that first of many, our one year anniversary. And the day before that, our beautiful baby boy just turned three months old and oh how he keeps growing and growing, like a little weed . . . albeit an adorable lil’ weed.
