Maddie
I have wanted to do a shoot at the UW campus for *years*, and finally had the opportunity to when a client said “I’m totally open to locations- you pick!”. I’ve had plenty of clients say this to me before, but always forgot about campus. I couldn’t have had a better day (a break in the rain) or a better subject. I love Maddie! Here Maddie’s mom was playing hide-and-go-seek behind the pillars. Maddie is trying to figure out where she is. So. Cute.

Eli & Charlie
Eli and Charlie are two super sweet lab boys who live out in Monroe Washington. We had a beautiful fall day for our shoot and I couldn’t have been happier. We all had a blast and I’m in love with the colors that came from this shoot. Mmmm color.

University Canine Learning Academy artist’s reception- this Friday
I’m super excited to be involved in planning a multi-artist, multi-photographer art show/party for this Friday night. It will be taking place at the University Canine Learning Academy in U Village in Seattle, and will feature Cowbelly Pet Photography, Decopaw Design, the paintings of Art by Angie, Photography by Emily Reiman of Best Friend Photography, the yummy goods from Immortal Dog Bakery, the leads of the pack of trainers at UCLA, and several other dog artists and pet photographers (ironing out details now!). A plethora of talent and awesome businesses. Whoppee! The event is this Friday, 11/20/09, and goes from 6-9pm. Location: University Canine Learning A

The power of software (AKA Max’s Decopaw art)
I used to be a lot more picky about images I used for Decopaw art. But now it’s different. “68k file? Blurry? Really dark? Ah, I’ll make it work”. Why? Because it may be my only shot at preserving the memories of their beloved pet in a piece of art that I hope makes their heart sing for many years to come. Case in point: this piece for Max, the dearly passed 16 year old. P.S. You’ll see a few more art proofs here dur
