Bay View Christmas Market Day & Northside Makers Market This Saturday

Charity Walk for Child Cancer
I totally advise against ever walking 15km without training first. I heard about a great charity event called the Mega Walk and thought hey - A nice stroll on Sunday morning will be good for me. A group of us ventured out together but I could not keep up. Ended up with me on my own most of the time chasing the figures in the distance and suffering as silently as possible - HOWEVER!! I did finish and eventually caught up with my friend after jogging a bit and it is only now that I have stopped that my hips have completely seized into one position and I feel like the tin man from Wizard of OZ!

Jean Shopping - YUCK !!!
Today was my first Monday not going to work in the city. I did have to go to work with hubby but I started as I told him I intend to continue and went shopping first. We have a family sitting on Wednesday for some photos and the whole family had to get new clothes to be a similar colour scheme. We opted for a white pastel kind of look with jeans. Given I am the only female I got to wear whatever I wanted and the boys are all wearing shirts. Dont you hate shopping for jeans though. I really dont think I am an abnormally shaped size 12-14, but when I went to try on a very common type of jean, not mentioning any names, if the waist was the right size then the butt was too big

Last Day at Work
I have taken the plunge and have finally after 10 years resigned from my job in the city. I have been working part time ever since Sammy arrived and working for a family business and trying to sew in my spare time. (WHAT SPARE TIME) and I finally decided to work just for the family business and do a little sewing and spend more time, I hope with the family. What a big change! Today was my last day and it is quite nice to think I dont have to be there on Monday. No traffic to deal with, or rushing to get kids off to school and then get to work. No feeling guilty when I want to be sewing for a change. So
