Some Thoughts and Challenges for us!
As I went back over Psalm 7, it hit me that I could apply some of the “evil” ways that are spoken of to be ones in my very own life! Today I am able to have a full day of rest. I am diligent to have one or two of these days in my week. When I do, I relentlessly insist that I sit on my couch with my tea wrapped in my blanket before anyone gets up and open myself up to His Word in a deeper way. Today I was led to Jude. In the midst of David’s pain and sorrow spoken in this psalm, there is a glimpse of hope in his voice. You hear it in the end. You feel his pain, yet you can relate to him hanging on to one last thread of hope. Have you been there? Are you there now? For some of us, as we read this psalm it is as if we wrote it ourselves.
