How can someone be an unlikely housewife? What does that mean, anyway? Well, for starters, you can be an unlikely anything. If you have never dreamed of becoming something, in fact maybe the thought horrified you or seemed so unlikely it made you laugh... and then it happened anyway, through unexpected circumstances... Then unlikely seems like a fitting adjective, doesn't it? And if you really don't have the qualities one expects from someone in that position/job/situation; if you are, in fact... let's say, less than proficient ("inept" is such an ugly word!) at that job... well, unlikely starts sounding just about right, doesn't it?
So there you have it. Yours truly. |

Everybody is somebody
Have you heard about The Great Interview Experiment? It’s a brilliant idea, and Neil can take all the credit for it! the idea behind it is that “everybody is somebody”, everyone has an interesting story to tell. Participating bloggers get paired up and everyone gets interviewed, and interviews someone else. I participated last year and had the good luck to meet two amazing gals. So when I heard about it this year i wasn’t going to let the change go
I never do this
This isn’t something I generally do. I don’t generally blog about things that are sad or upsetting. There are enough places to get bad news, I don’t need to add my blog to the list.
But this time it’s about someone I have met, talked to, hugged, laughed with.
This time it’s about Anissa.
Anissa, whom I met at the pre-BlogHer party for the first time, but immediately made me feel like I was among friends (and gave me her goody bag!)
Anissa, whom I wish I had managed to hang out more with that weekend, and is another reason why I am looking forward to BlogHer10.

If you think three is a crowd, try standing in line for Jimmy Choo for H&M
*yawn* I got up at 4.30am, people. To go to my favorite H&M store, crossing my fingers on the way there that there woulnd’t be too long a line.
As it turns out, there wasn’t a line at all: about 35 people were just standing messily in front of the doors, blocking the sidewalk and leaving not much room for late comers to line up behind them.
... and here I was thinking Swiss people were organized
When I suggested th
Now If I could have her legs too…
I am a huge fan of Sienna Miller’s – her style, not her personality. Which I cannot judge, because I don’t know her. Though if I had to judge, the thing with Balthazar Getty woulnd’t speak highly of her.
Anyways – I LOVE her style. Like most British peeps, it’s a bit kooky at times, but spot-on most of the time. Great makeup, perfect accessorizing, and especially that fantastic, boho-meets-rocker style of hers, which never looks too put together, too studied, but it is just fantastic IMO.
And then there’s her hair: it always looks great, styled but not overly so, like her clothing, like she is just natural
Let it rain, let it Fall
The weather has been pretty miserable for the best part of a month here. Rain, rain and more rain, with a precious few, tentative, teasing sunny days in between.
I am sort of moody to start with, and the weather just adds to it. I don’t have it down to a science or anything, but I am more likely to be in a bad mood when it’s bad weather – though one might argue, what is ‘bad’ weather to me might be good we
