| Description: | DreamTeam Clothing aka DRMTM was founded in 2006 by Huy Dieu and Kazuma Hataraki. Based in Düsseldorf, Germany, they have made a strong name for themselves in the design sector and now translated that into their own clothing line - with the intention to prove, that Germany is a serious player in the world of global streetwear and fresh designs. Their DRMTM blog on dreamteamclothing.com covers and represents the European and international streetwear scene and also shows what the guys like and love - to share it with many people around the globe. Meanwhile,the blog is renowned worldwide. Huy Dieu and Kazuma Hataraki, knowing each other since their childhood, both have their roots in the urban design, streetwear and skateboarding segment. As the operative head of the DRMTM, Kazuma is taking care of all PR and marketing matters and the DRMTM blog content. He involves his ideas that are translated into the design by Huy who is acting as creative head and designer. In the past, Huy Dieu realized several design projects for brands such as Michael Michalsky, Asics Onitsuka Tiger or Adidas. He also collaborated with different international artists, such as Zedz and Tiquestar for the Carhartt store interior design in Amsterdam. For the WEARe Düsseldorf tradeshow in February 2008, Huy Dieu was acting himself as artist creating an oversized, 24 meters wall-installation. Exclusively for the “untitled No.8 infity” exhibition at Bread and Butter in Barcelona, DreamTeam Clothing and German artist Selam inc. met the Toygiants art project (toygiants.com) by artists Daniel & Geo Fuchs and toy-collector Selim Varol to create the limited good guys and bad guys hoodies-series. Currently, DRMTM is working on collaborations with other international brands and designers that will blow mind. |
