Emerald City Fashion Week is not intended to compete with these smaller niche events, but to in fact support and promote them. A Vision of the Future of Seattle Fashion
We are often asked why we have decided to take on the task of Emerald City Fashion Week, and more importantly why is Emerald City Fashion Week different from the multitude of other fashion events around the Puget Sound? Well here is our answer. Twenty years from now we envision Emerald City Fashion Week to be an epicenter for the Northwest and Pacific Rim fashion industry with designers, manufacturers, industry experts and suppliers from around the world converging on Seattle. Designers will be offered continuing education opportunities and trend forecasting enabling them to better apply their craft. Design houses will flourish in SODO and the Georgetown area. Suppli
