X-mas card making crop at the Buzz, november 24 2009
Niet één, nee maar liefst 2 kits krijg je als deelnemer van de kerstkaarten crop a.s. dinsdag, 24 november. Kom alvast een beetje in Kerststemming! Maak leuke kaarten om te versturen of labels voor aan cadeautjes of als eyecatcher in je boom. Er zijn nog slechts enkele plaatsen vrij dus geef je nu op! Grossostheim here I come...
...in only 5 days I will be leaving to Grossostheim near Frankfurt am Main, Germany, to teach at the workshop weekend at the Papierwerkstatt. This is what we will be making, using a Maya Road chipboard album, book paper, glimmer mist, Heidi Swapp masks, a variety of yummy patterned papers and fun goodies. Falling for you! Sint Maarten and a party
Yesterday was Sint Maarten here in the Netherlands, or I should say the north of the Netherlands. Kids go from door to door with they're (mostly self made) Chinese lanterns and sing special Sint Maarten songs. For singing the song they get a treat. Moslty candy but sometimes money or little toys. It's kind of Haloween without the dressing up :)

Yay, the flu left our house...
... for a long time I hope!! Although Marlijn and Lennart are still coughing the fever has gone and they feel quite well. They both went back to school today :) I've been playing with glimmer mist these last couple of days. I'm working on an article for Mijn Creatieve Hobby but before I started the actual article I played around a little to find out the possibilities of this product, since I haven't been working with it a lot. I LOVE it! It's so fun to work with! You do get dirty hands though... or is that just messy me?? :)

From the sick-bay...
There are 2 patients on my sofa now. Although Marlijn is doing much better then she was the last couple of days and her fever is gone, she's still coughing and not coming out of bed to play, so I kept her another day home from school. Lennart has been up a couple of times last night feeling misarable. He's been sickly for days but just not really, ykwm? But now he is! So this morning Marlijn and Lennart both took their beds to the sofa and now their watching tv together... my living room is now our sick-bay and I'm a nurse :)
