FOR LOVE OF WATER
Every morning, the first thing I do after I wake up is use the bathroom. After I’m done relieving myself, I flush the toilet. I then walk to the sink and wash my hands. Then I walk to the kitchen to get a drink of water. After I fill my cup from our sink and drink the water, I keep the water running as I prepare my toothbrush. After I put the toothpaste on, I run it under the water for a half of second (I don’t even know why I do that. I was just told I’m supposed to). While the water is running, I brush my teeth. After brushing my teeth for two minutes, I rinse my toothbrush off from the water I haven’t turned off yet. Then I rinse my mouth out with the wa
ALBINISM IN AFRICA
If we intentionally open our eyes to some of the world’s worst injustices, it won’t take long for us to have our hearts moved. I hate hearing of stories that I feel like a can do nothing about. That is exactly how I felt when I watched a special on T.V. about albinism in Africa. There is a small population of Africans who are albino. But within a couple of years, there body parts and organs have become a top item in the black market. Local witchdoctors have started to use albino organs and body parts in potions and it’s a growing crisis in a few countries. I figured the least I can do is try and bring awareness to people about this issue, and maybe some people will be moved
