It was but an average Saturday night. There I was, in the bathroom getting ready for a dinner out with whats-his-face, when I bent over to throw some mascara on and suddenly noticed a sparkle in my newly-browned hair. Could it be that my colorist forgot a strand when taking me from stripper blond to wife-material brunette? Was it wet? Did my fairy godmother sprinkle glitter on my scalp in the kitchen? Was the fluorescent lighting flickering right above that one particular strand? I took a closer look, and what I found sent me into a spiral of sweats, Lionel Richie songs and self medication by way of cheap wine. It was a fucking gray hair. As in NO MORE PIGMENT. As
