Why is it that around this time of year, that old to do list just gets longer and longer and longer? I have writing to catch up on for NaNoWriMo. I have writing assignments to do, I have blogging to do, I have books to read, I have to get an insurance quote for my best friend’s car because she’s thinking of switching insurance and wants me to give her a hand in finding a new insurance company, I have a concert to go to this Friday, and I have umpteen other things I have to do before the end of the month. I Wanna Be A Rockstar…
That’s one of my favorite songs by Nickelback. For some reason the song is in my head at the moment, hence the title of the post. Got me thinking about what I would want to do/have if I were a rock star. Most people say they would get all these fancy cars, bunch of bling type jewelry, stuff like that. How Depressing
You know, if my friend Heather keeps sending me videos on YouTube of older songs/bands that I miss, I’m gonna need an extra fat burner! I say that because I see those bands and videos and while I love the music I listen to now, I also miss the bands and music that no longer exist. Cards, Presents, and Novels
My friend’s mom has taken on a project – sending all of the members of her church Christmas, birthday, and anniversary cards. I think she is nuts – it is not something she was asked to do, she just decided to do it and asked for a list of birthdays and anniversaries, as well as a list of everyone’s addresses. She can have that job. LOL Myself, I’m wishing I could afford orlando vacations for everyone on my list, because most of them would like to be somewhere warm by the time Christmas rolls around. Not big fans of snow and ice.
