Another one down
Well, another Halloween is down, plus I have discovered that a friend of mine has decided to skip town and move to Indianapolis. No particular reason according to her, although I suspect it is because her family moved there a couple of years ago and she misses them. In any case she’s been making a valiant attempt at an Indianapolis Job Search before she goes,
Happy Halloween
It’s Halloween! So of course, the first thing I think of is….. This is Halloween! The song! I happen to have TWO different copies of it, by TWO different artists. I adore this song, it makes me smile no matter what time of year I hear it. This is Halloween – Marilyn Manson Version This is Halloween – Panic! at the Disco There are, of course, other songs that fit the season. Songs like: Disturbia – Rihanna Did you know that the #1 Halloween song is now This is Halloween from Nightmare Before Christmas
I Can’t Stand The Rain
There are so many things I would rather do than listen to the rain coming down outside. It’s rained so much, that really, I can think of several things that would be better than listening to rain fall. I’ve whined about all the concerts and wrestling events I couldn’t afford to go to. I tried my best to sell eye cream and other items for one of those “home rep” makeup companies. I’ve tried to sell my beaded jewelry and crocheted items. I’ve tried to sell web graphics. And I haven’t made a dime on any of it. But, I have made some money on my paid blogging. That is one thing I can count on. One of my companies always h
Life Experience in Pop Music
You know, one of the things that I find interesting about pop music is that while some of the songs may be based on life experience, the greater majority of songs are not. Granted, many of today’s pop music artists are teenagers, whose life experience can be counted on one hand – if they don’t sing about their parents’ divorce, then they’d have to be singing about a boyfriend/girlfriend or finding the right acne treatments for them. So in a way, I suppose it is a good thing you don’t find Miley Cyrus singing songs based too much on her life. However, one pop star does do a lot of “life experience
