Squueeeeeee!!
I've done it.I've taken the plunge.I've opened an Etsy store. And now I'm freaking out. That's normal, isn't it??So far I have two scrabble tile pendants in the store. I have a couple more to take pics of and sort out chains for. I think that can wait until I don't have the little boy underfoot. There are also a couple of other pieces of art jewellery going through their drying and curing stage, so they'll be up in a week or so.
Crazy house...
That's pretty much sums up this place during the weekend. We cram so much family time in that there is little time for anything else :) Although add to that the fact that our power kept shorting out (still haven't worked out what the problem was, but it hasn't happened again so far this week), meant I haven't been near the computer much to do a blog post.Miss Scooter had her Grade 1 orientation yesterday. I went along for a look because she begged me to ;) But it was nice to work out where the Gr 1 classrooms were and who the teachers would be next year. All the Preps were so cute sitting down in the Gr 1 classroom doing the activities. Now I just have to sort out her uniform...

There's no stopping.Today has been one of those days.He woke up waaayy too early and has fluctuated between manic and sooky except for the hour of bliss when he had a s
Swim
Miss Scooter is getting so much better with her swimming. She's been having lessons since February this year (we did have a couple in Nov/Dec last year, but then had that 6 week break which sort of stuffed it all up, so we won't count them!), and her confidence in the water is growing with every lesson. From a little girl who would kick and scream when getting in the water, she can now swim a couple of metres, float on her back and front and loves to play in the water. Exactly what we wanted with the lessons. This all means that we can quite happily go to Nan & Pop's place and swim in their pool without having to worry about her going mental... we just have to deal with Mr Ra
