My Girls Love Boys Who Sparkle
I got tickets for the girls to see New Moon from the Twilight saga this evening.

I know! I know! I am a kick ass mom according to my Facebook peeps.
What can I say – my girls love boys who sparkle and I love my girls.
I made them personalized buttons to show their team spirit.
Where am I?
The past few nights I have slept restlessly. I usually get this way at the equinox for a couple days. It is as if my body is reacting to shift of the planet. I know something is going on in the atmosphere but I don’t know what. My muscles ache and my joints are stiff. I have a headache. When I wake up I feel drugged or drunk. Also I am shakey and can’t get it together easily. Maybe the weather is shifting more toward winter. I just don’t know. Once I get moving I am good for most of the day. Despite the whatever going on I have been super productive lately.

Every time I hear Jessie’s Girl I am instantly sent back to 1981 – 1983 and General Hospital on TV after school with Luke and Laura and Dr. Noah Drake. My heart always beats a little harder when I hear this song or see him on videos. I turn up the radio and sing loud and with much fervor.

Yes, I was a surrogate. No, I did not donate my eggs. The child is a product of the sperm and egg of his parents being fertilized in laboratory and then the embryos frozen and waiting. I was a vessel by which a miracle occurred. He is a happy, healthy, well adjusted teen aged young man who knows the full truth. I see him usually most summers when they visit in Virginia.
