Doll Shows Should show Appreciation in a small way
I know putting on doll shows is quite a lot of work and I know we all appreciate the wonderful people who do it. I also know how much work it is to make a doll for the show, then box it up and trust it will be returned in good condition. It is also an expensive process, from materials used to create the dolls, to entry fees, to shipping and return shipping costs. Only a few of the entries will receive a prize and most of us are good with that, because we love showing our art. How easy it would be to print up a bunch of little certificates of participation for the memory album of those who spent so much time making dolls , which in the end helps make the shows successful.
