Move over restaurants and bed-and-breakfasts. A new fantasy seems to have taken hold for people who long to own their own business: the cupcakery.

This is when my work gets really cool. When I left the serious world of law, I wanted to live a cool jetset life…Somebody’s gotta do it. I met Kellan at an Academy Awards Preshow event. He’s a genuinely nice guy. I asked him about his fitness regimen. He said he likes to swim. The photo below is Kellan and I hanging out. Sometimes you never know where inspiration will come from. Sometimes you give it. Sometimes you receive it. Sometimes both from the same transaction. My friend Sylvia calls this “God’s economy.” From time to time people will contact me seeking inspiration, advice or motivation for an endeavor or life change. Its an awesome position to be in. Last year after my NPR Interview I received a letter from a woman seeking advice on a career in wellness. When cleaning my office recently, I found her letter and immediately penned a thoughtful response and included my cel
