Sunday Serenade
Last Sunday I shared the song my husband wanted for our wedding song. I was going to share the song I wanted for our song but realized I posted it on October 18th. So today I will offer the song I always associate with my husband. In my head it is "his" song.

I spent most of Thursday trying to set up my new Windows 7 laptop. I got it last week and basically just made sure it worked when I turned it on and then I put it in a drawer. Wednesday we bought my husband a laptop at Best Buy (because Dell screwed up his order so badly that nasty letters are in the mail) and we bought the transfer cable so we could move settings and files quickly. That was a colossal waste of money because your setting don't transfer over and our files are already backed up to an external hard drive and we could have moved them from there - oh well. The transfer cable worked well for my husband since he basically uses his computer to play chess and backgammo

Every year at this time I post the following little essay - I did not write it - I don't know who did, but I'm sure there are those of you who can relate. Happy Thanksgiving All! I don't know about you but I needed a giggle this morning
And so I went looking for the funniest man on the planet, Eddie Izzard. And Lo and Behold the first thing that popped up was a incredibly appropriate bit, at least incredibly appropriate for my husband, who spent an inordinate amount of time yesterday on the phone with Dell regarding a computer he ordered over 6 weeks ago and which is now canceled. We are now looking forward to many many more problems concerning the billing for this. Oh, wait - you're not truly interested in why my husband has now added Dell to his list of companies he will never patronize. Right, right, of course - on to the real giggle -
