Hillary Rubin's Mission is Simple & On Purpose:
Simple in that it is human and REAL as it brings life into challenge so we grow together organically. On purpose to open, shift, humor and challenge you to become more than you thought you could by using your health issues/challenges/diagnosis as a portal to ultimate freedom within.
With all of my work my belief is to see everything as a gift, blessing and/or teacher - yes even my diagnosis of MS. All of my offerings come from my heart and I live by doing the best I can knowing there is always room for growth. We are all teachers and the more we hang together we can see that we are in good company.
And remember you are more than a diagnosis and never alone! |

The Universe Provides
Have you ever felt you were just hitting walls wherever you went? Even thought what do I have to change in order to feel better? Or think that your world is closing in on you? A couple of months back I did exactly that asked in my prayer/meditation to be given new tools to meet the world with. And was gifted exactly that- new tools and ways to be in the world.
A coach/mentor who I worked with about 5 years ago called me up about 2 days after I put the intention out there. She offered me as a gift a week of training with Christopher Howard Trainings. She said to me, “Would you be interested in doing a course c
Slowing Down (for real)
Everything around me is pointing to my slowing down. This has been a long time coming and it became clear to me when I was rear ended by a drunk driver a few weeks ago. This was followed by my email list being frozen (and it’s not any more), canceling my tele-class other situations that were put on hold. At the same time I was being supported by friends, coaches, teachers and clients to receive.
After my accident I had to stop and heal. (my body was in shock) I kept asking the question - Who is it I am being called to be?. This question kept popping up and I could not get away from it and just turned to it. I see that the end of 2009 is giving me the opportunity
Overcome Your Feelings of Defeat
Have you ever felt you have done everything you can but you feel like your being pushed down? This happens to all of us at some point and here is an important reminder – You Are Not Alone. We all have days we’re not feeling great this is the time to be, reflect and grow. (then it’s not so bad)
I want to share with you a story that I found inspiring in overcoming a (possible) defeat. A student/client shared with me that she was afraid to go out and spend time with her daughter. She often feels defeated by her health condition (Multiple Sclerosis) and it seems to get the best of her some times. Her daughter wanted to spend some time with her but she was
Are Your Grateful For What You Have?
This morning I was meditating and my sweet dog woke up and then went back into her bed. After my meditation I moved about and she took this as a que to get out of bed. She went over to the screen door and slipped her head between the blinds and just waited for me to slide it open. She stood there for about five minutes enjoying the sun through the screen but wanted to be outside.
I watched her and thought about how sometimes in my life and meditation practice I feel I have met not just a door but a screen door and forget to enjoy what I am experiencing. Today I was reminded to enjoy it for what is there and know that with patience the door will open.
Today, I was
Boundaries Deepen Intimacy
This past weekend I went back to my hometown to go through my childhood belongings. It has been years that I have been there. Over the few days I had there I went on a journey inside of my mind and heart. I walked down memory lane reading old journals, looking through pictures, my artwork and other stuff. A friend suggested I burn sage around everything and this was a great help to release and let go. I ended up donating most of it and throwing the rest away keeping about 1% and lightening my load. In the past my tendency was to do too much. I would try to see everybody and throw my energy all over the place forgetting why I went there in the first place. To help me in
