Tombstone Tuesday - Elam Genung
Here lies Reverend Elam Genung. He was born on 27 May 1796 in New Jersey, and died on 05 Nov 1845 in Indiana. He wa a Methodist preacher who founded the Trinity United Methodist Church in New Albany, Indiana, which was dedicated on 20 June 1817. He is buried in the Hancock Chapel United Methodist Cemetery in Hancock Chapel, Harrison County, Indiana.
