Very, Very Calm
Lie down.  Get comfortable. Breathe in deeply.  While you inhale, I want you to envision a clearish white light that crosses over your lips and nostrils.  As you breathe it in, I want you to picture it crossing into your body, traveling down your throat, and into your lungs. Exhale.  As you push the breath out of you, I want you to picture it pulling out of you everything that strains you.  Everything that stresses you.  Allow every exhalation to pull from you the things that no longer suit you.  Imagine these things trailing onto the breath as you send it from yourself. Surrounded by Stalkers!
I had a thought the other day… I thought that perhaps the reason the cats follow me around all day was not because they love me. Instead, what if they’re doing what cats do instinctively, where they stalk their prey? Because I feed them, you know. And then… I was very sad.

Sanity and Reason: A Conversation About Panic Disorder
I thought writing about this topic this weekend.   I’m still a little hesitant, yet… In honor of discovering and understanding more about myself, I am going to digest a few things out loud.  Or in writing.  Because it’s my site, and I can, dammit. About a decade ago, I met a girl named J.  She was my younger brother’s girlfriend, was thirteen, and had been kicked out of her house.  Because I had my own place, it was only fitting that my brother’s family would ask if she could stay with me.  She was a very polite, beautiful, and sort of emo-style girl who was old beyond her age.  She had dropped out of school, and was unemployed.   I l
