Eye am thankful...
Sorry I didn't update yesterday. I think we were all just exhausted.
First, K3... She continues to be a good sport about everything right on down the line: all the meds, the lip cleaning and dressing (every couple hours), the liquid foods and the hated mouth rinses. If you have to take care of someone, you want it to be an awesome patient like K3.
Ironically, this picture represents a "black eye" that has crept up on us the last couple days. It was not there earlier this week. K3 is kind of tickled by it's emergence!
The Guardians
Meet The Guardians... protectors of the helpless...ever watchful of evil doers... Ready to take on all comers in defense of K3.

Countdown...

Here she is after another dose of meds and a sponge bath. She asked for the laptop and the remote control. As you can see, the brute squad is keeping a prett
My Baby Girl
My little K3 was hit by a truck yesterday morning after she got off the bus.
Essentially, the truck mirror caught her in the face and chest. Her chest is bruised but no broken bones. Her jaw was broken in two places and at least one tooth is gone.
This is the ct scan of her head. You can see the contusion from her head striking the pavement.
Not enough data.
