| Description: | Several years ago I traded in my corporate desk for an easel. I got the better end of that deal, and couldn't be happier about it. My paintings are still lifes on an intimate scale, all done in oil. They owe an obvious and conscious debt to the great Dutch still life artists of 350 years ago. However, I live and work here and now, so modern sensibilities also assert themselves, albeit in subtle ways. Thanks for looking, and I hope you enjoy the artwork. |
