Dan Marino For American TV & Appliance?
I wrote a post a while back about American TV's lame advertising. I think they've gotten the message that their advertising is lame, but they haven't fixed the problem. Watching the USA network this evening, I just saw a new ad for American. But instead of the generic stock boring anonymous person talking about the merits of whatever big screen tv or furniture set, it was none other than retired Miami Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino. Ok, adding a celebrity is a change, but I wouldn't call it a substantial improvement. That's not to say that Dan Marino is a bad guy at all.
