The event, held November 25th, was sponsored by the Lamar County Ministerial Association and the Chamber of Commerce. Previous to the ceremony a Community Thanksgiving Service was held at the First Methodist Church

Beautiful Fall
So far it has been a beautiful Fall in Lamar County. Mild temperatures, mostly sunny days, and plenty of community activities like football and Halloween have made it a special time.
