| Description: |
Ligonier Ministries is an international Christian education organization established in 1971 to equip Christians to articulate what they believe and why they believe it. Founded by theologian Dr. R.C. Sproul, proclaiming God's holiness is central to the ministry's purpose. To this end, we produce the Renewing Your Mind radio broadcasts, The Reformation Study Bible (ESV), Tabletalk devotional magazine, new book titles by Dr. Sproul and other contemporary authors and theologians through the Reformation Trust Publishing imprint, numerous teaching series, sacred/classical music, national and regional conferences, and an extensive catalog with more than 3,000 specially-selected resources. We are also the home of Ligonier Academy, a center of learning and Christian discipleship in near Orlando, Florida. |

You Can Still Make an Impact in 2009
In just a few weeks Ligonier must close the books on 2009
with what we fervently pray is a balanced ministry budget. We have a
large hurdle to clear toward that goal: the $1,787,151 we need to
receive by December 31 to meet our year-end obligations. Our
budgeted need in December is greater than any other month of the year.
And year-end gifts account for nearly 20 percent of Ligonier's entire
annual donation income. We have seen God provide the necessary
resources time and again through the generosity of His people, and this
is our confidence and our hope again as our ministry comes to a close
for 2009.Your support at this crit

It was originally called Thanksgiving. The idea of Thanksgiving day has its roots in our own history, in the bitter struggle that the original founding fathers of this country had with the elements. The pilgrims who came to these shores in 16
Does God Really Want All People To Be Saved?
In this second installment of an interview between R.C. Sproul and Mark Driscoll, Dr. Sproul responds to a question submitted by a Facebook user dealing with the will of God. (See Part 1 of this interview.)
The Gift of Knowledge
The Bible, philosophy, apologetics, and theology can be rather intimidating areas of study for most people. Yes, they are very important to learn but where do you even start? R.C. Sproul has produced what we refer to as Overview Series. In these four resources, he provides a thorough, yet easy to understand examination of each of these topics. Start knowing what you believe and why you believe it.The Bible
