It's hard to believe it's the last day of October. The month has really flown by. I'm sitting in the living room, watching birds at the feeders. Two of the chickens are under a feeder, scratching around for dropped seeds. It's very cold today, after yesterday's seventy degree day. The wind is blowing, too, so it's a good day to be inside. I've got a little black halloween cat at my feet entertaining me.Lindsay is at a band competition today. I'm waiting to see if they made it into the finals. If they did, I'll drive down to watch. Normally, I'd go for the whole thing...I used to chaperone every one of them. Band crazy band mom politics have kept me away this year.
