Saturday!!
Being unemployed (which stinks!) my Saturday looks very similar to all the other days! Hats, Hats and More Hats!
I have been a little busy, just me and my crochet hook!!  Well, occassionally just me and my knitting needles. I am enjoying the feeling of completed projects.  Here is a look at the berets that I have been working on.

Reconstructed
I love to do all types of crafts but sewing is my first love!!  I love to create new things with my sewing, but lately I am in a reconstruction phase(aka upcycling), I like to take something old and make it new, make it better, make it useful again.  So here is what I did today.  Did I mention that I had a great time doing it?! So this t-shirt was super cute but not fantastic~ The material is super soft and the skulls were cute~

Busy….Busy….Busy!!
I have been in a yarn frenzy, crocheting and knitting my little heart out!!  My girlfriend recently asked me to put together some things to sell in her shop.  She did not have a pattern but instead showed me a couple of items that she had and wanted me to copy.  I have never made something without a pattern so this was a challenge.   I have to say that they came out great and I am very happy with them.  I took them to her and she was thrilled.  Here they are!!

Fall Back!!
So we turned the clocks back this morning and although I dread the evenings coming to end earlier and earlier, and I am not a fan of cold weather (hence I live in SoCal), I do enjoy many things about Fall.  I especially love that I can once again start using my oven(we live in a house without air conditioning((oh it is equipped and for $8,000 it could work, let’s not go there!)) so I don’t use the oven in warm weather) and I do enjoy comfort foods.  I also enjoy the smell of the season, spices and such.  The other thing I also enjoy is laying in my nice warm bed and reading a book, not something I get to do often. Speaking of my bed, now that it is Fall I
