Creative Choices
Sometimes the creative choice comes in shooting the image. Sometimes it comes in processing the image. Sometimes it is about "what you see is what you get" - the literal image captured by your camera. And sometimes it is about using the tools to show your vision - however (and whenever) that vision hits you. In yesterday's blog post, I opted to process the Dream for Sale image using a couple layers of Topaz Simplify to "art it up." Hunger
I'm in NY for work and the Irish Hunger Memorial is across the street from my hotel. Here are some images that I captured yesterday morning and last night - before and after work. These were shot with my 50 mm f/1.8 lens - the "nifty fifty." I have one more day of my "Nifty Fifty" challenge and then I can change lenses. Hopefully I will have time for some more shooting while I'm here. This memorial is full of shooting possibilities so I will probably return.
