November 2009 has New York united! This month has New Yorkers discussing Mayoral elections, the Yankees, and of course NSHMBA Leadership Development seminars. The New York Chapter of NSHMBA has 3 major events planned for November.The first event is the Latina Leadership Summit, which takes place on November 5th. Now in its 5th year, the New York Chapter of NSHMBA, with Deloitte & Touche/Harvard Business School’s Latino Alumni Association and American Express® proudly present the 5th Annual Latina Leadership Summit. Keeping with our ‘Move Forward’ campaign from the 2009 National Conference, this year’s Latina Leadership Summit will center on TRANSITIONS.

The New York Chapter of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs Pre-Conference event at Fordham University on September 19, 2009. This event designed to help attendees prepare for the 2009 National Conference & Career Expo, by reviewing interviewing skills, polishing personal marketing messages and providing constructive criticism on resume drafting techniques, featured workshops, mock interviews and panel discussions.

Hispanic Heritage Month: Moving Forward with NSHMBA NY
September is BUSY and busy is GOOD! We like to keep ourselves and you busy at the National Society of Hispanic MBAs and have therefore created a full agenda for the next few months. September is not only considered to be "Back to School" month, but it also marks the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month. In keeping with our Heritage’s positive outlook on life, this year's National Conference's theme is THINK AHEAD, MOVE FORWARD, therefore, we have an array of FORWARD moving and thinking events scheduled for September and beyond.
