Maegan and Kyle!
Maegan and Kyle had a beautiful wedding day with friends and family who made it all the best FUN! The church is Immaculate Conception Church in Irwin and the banquest halll is one of our local favorites--Stratigos Banquet Centre right next door in North Huntingdon (great food, marvelous atmosphere and very photogenic).  

Shoot with Beckstead!
This week I attended a 3 day workshop given by one of the top wedding photographers on the planet, David Beckstead!  The work shop was hosted by Paul and Cyndy Meyer who obviously put a ton of work into it.  We had a great atmosphere, a great instructor, and Cyndy's great cooking! The workshop centered around composition.  Studying photographic composition with David Beckstead is like studying electric guitar with Eric Clapton or Carlos Santana.  Among other things, we studied lines, reflections, and the "flow" of a compostion as

An Emotional Day
Happiness and tears...Tara and Jason's wedding brought them all together. Everyone was thrilled to see Tara in her beautiful dress. Tara's Dad Tom has all the best jokes. But he was speechless walking Tara up the aisle. The ceremony was at St. Mary's Polish National Catholic Church in Carnegie and the reception was at the amazing Doubletree Hotel on University Blvd. in Moon Township.        Just Right!

Sparkling September Wedding
Amanda and Dave had a stunning September day for their wedding. The church is Westminster Presbyterian next to Upper St. Clair High School. For pictures in between the ceremony and reception we stopped at a secret Ovation South Side locale. Can you identify it? Their reception (only in the last image in the video below) was at the IBEW Circuit Center. Additional images were contributed by Ovation Photographer Bob Ketcham and lighting assistant Julio Merz.  

Saint Paul Cathedral Wedding
Saint Paul Cathedral is probably one of Pittsburgh's most easily recognized Catholic wedding locales. When Stacey and Kyle had their wedding at the Cathedral, we had a marvelous opportunity to create some fine wedding day art for them. Saint Paul has elegant small spaces for the bride to get ready and it is the ultimate elegant big wedding space in Pittsburgh.
