Bought nothing!
Hey, finally a successful Buy Nothing Day! I always attempt to observe BND, but usually fall short because it turns out I have to buy stamps or do something similarly menial. I do not do Black Friday sales, "doorbusters", getting up in the middle of the night to go shopping, or anything of that kind, so BND is kind of more my thing...I did do some shopping today, though -- I looked through Amazon's Friday Sale, and then I figured out

Alice started puking this morning while she was trying to take her shower, and she's thrown up another few times since then. Supposedly it's a pretty fast-moving bug, though; people who started feeling bad last night seem to be feeling better this afternoon, so hopefully Alice is almost done.* I heard about another case while I was typing that sentence. No school for either kid today (obviously) or tomorrow, which takes us
