Where Am I?
Do you often find yourself lost and looking for directions whether you are walking, driving, or taking public transportation? I don't often get lost, but am so anal retentive that I prefer to know where I am, where I am going, and have directions on how to get there! This is where a nice handheld gps can come in handy.

So my friend Raica is coming to Parrot Cay from New York on Sunday and luckily she is picking up drug store supplies for us. There are so many products we can't get here in the Caribbean - the best eye cream for me, Loreal Revtalift, the shampoo I like, Tom's Natural Toothpaste. Beautiful Beaches of North Carolina
OK, I do realize that I live in the most beautiful beach in the world (it's true; you could drop a quarter in our water and see if it"s heads or tails), but when I lived in the states the Outer Banks of North Carolina were one of my favorite beach getaway locations. There are plenty of well priced and lovely Outer Banks vacation rentals, so if you are looking for new place to enjoy some down time I highly recommend the Outer Banks.

Diamonds for Hanukkah
Around this time of year I start to think a bit more about jewelry, bags, and other gifts. This year I am considering the black Daria hobo by Mulberry and possibly a Diamond Initial Pendant necklace. Simple, easy, elegant stuff that I can easily wear both in the "real world" and here in Turks and Caicos. Great bags and great jewelry are my favorite gifts.
