What is Viagra's generic name?
This is obviously a joke and I found it funny so I am reposting it here. In Pharmacology, all drugs have two names, a trade name and generic name. For example, the trade name of Tylenol also has a generic name of Acetaminophen. Aleve is also called Naproxen. Amoxil is also     called Amoxicillin and Advil is also called Ibuprofen.   The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin (My-cock-is-floppin). Also considered were Mycoxafailin (My-cock-is-failin), Mydixadrupin (My-dick-is-droopin), Mydixarizin (My-dick-is-r
Gina Alajar's Facebook account hacked by 'The Buzz'
Filipino showbiz talk show 'The Buzz' apparently got unauthorized access to Gina Alajar's private Facebook account. According to the showbiz columnist Dolly Anne Carvajal, Alajar was dumbfounded as to how 'The Buzz' accessed her Facebook Account since she has no FB friends associated with the show. This reminds me of another Facebook citizen who got into trouble with Vicky Belo for posting dozens of libelous messages on Facebook.  Apparently, one of his FB friends notified Belo of his online tirade and supplied Belo's lawyers with screen captures.  A member of Belo's camp said that the Facebook user was apparently using status updates to pressure Belo to go into a P200 Million se
Philippine 2010 poll candidates file Certificate of Candidacy
Last Friday was the first day of filing of certificates of candidacies (COC) at the Commission on Elections. Most serious candidates for President, Senator, and other positions avoid going to the Comelec in Intramuros, Manila on the first day of filing of COCs largely because of the very interesting characters they might encounter. This year, the distinction of being the first to file his COC is also the front runner in a survey commissioned by God Almighty himself.  Yes, THE GOD actually commissioned a survey and he won it by a landslide. photo from Philippine Daily Inquirer Meet Rigoberto Madera, a sixty one year-old man who also claims to be a six star general.  After he w [...
Ang Ladlad, a nebulous movement at best
I think all gaydom shrieked and hollered when the Comelec refused to grant Ang Ladlad's petition to become a party-list group.  It seemed that this was all the news that mattered in the entire country that day as newspapers, tabloids, radio, and television news shuddered with indignation over the whole thing. Yesterday, I had a chance to talk with Director James Jimenez about the issue.  I really get everything that he said but he compared Ang Ladlad's struggle for recognition as a party-list to the women lib's fight for the right of suffrage.  It happens in stages, he said. The Comelec has been rapped and knocked about over its decision not to grant Ang Ladlad's petition.&n
Has Mrs. Pacquiao forgiven Mr. Pacquiao for the Krista Ranillo Fiasco?
Ah! Fergal, my dear editor, sometimes a little intrigue doesn't hurt.  Right after my post about Pacquiao was deleted, guess what happened?  A huge blogstorm erupted because of the purported controversy involving Manny Pacquiao and Krista Ranillo! Ah well!  We have our standards to maintain.  Scandal and intrigue supported only by tales from long time associates in the Philippine press who covered Pacquiao just won't do in Asian Correspondent. But anyway, we'll just have to make do a repost of an article from ABS-CBN NEWS dot COM. Baguio photos of Pacquiao, Krista surface MANILA – The alleged affair between Manny Pacquiao and Krista Ranillo continues to heat u [...
