FREE DEMO! Thursday 19th November 2009 11am demonstration equine touch with horses: FREE! Followed by hot lunch and informal question/answer session: 5 euros per person. Also possibility for video and talk on clicker training. Please let me know if you’re interested. Come along and see what you think! Hannah can also demonstrate the technique on you, so you can see what it feels like for your horse. Quick Bread
Today I’ve lit the stove, more to cheer us up on a dull rainy day than because we need the heat, but colder days are on the way and the time of baking and bread making is upon us again, so I’m wondering about buying this, anyone have it / can recommend it?

We have some windows!
At last! The four front windows, big pieces of double glazing, are in. The frames had to be planed to fit them, but we do now have upstairs windows. Finalmente! As quatro janelas frontais, grandes pedaços de vidros duplos, está dentro. Os quadros tiveram de ser planeado para encaixá-los, mas temos agora as janelas no andar de cima. And the balcony floor is finished. E o chão varanda está feito.

Gardening
Today, with the help of Lauren (7) and Emily (4) we’ve been: digging horseradish out of one of the raised beds, where it had taken over digging up and potting rooted goji berries making a new raised bed around a fig tree picking strawberries, capers, and tomatoes Lots to do at the moment, here’s a great calendar from www.quinta-cavaleira.blogspot.com
