My Faith is in Him- Part 2
I hope that before you read this post that you will take the time to read the previous post as they are all about the same topic- My Faith being restored and our Journey to a Vasectomy Reversal. Today I will start with this verse-1 Timothy 4:12 says "Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity." I have been convicted to share my story because I believe it will touch someone. As you know from my last post, my husband and I are scheduled for a vasectomy reversal in the very near future. If you read the previous post then you know that we chose
My Faith is in Him
I want to start my post off with this verse.....To be subjected to God's will is not only to give Him priority in our lives, it is but to give Him complete control.-- Avery D. Miller How often do we give God complete control over our lives? My Husband and I chose for him to have a Vasectomy nearly six years ago. I had just had our second child and I spent nine weeks in the hospital. I started out with a placental abruption (a small tear in my placenta) and was put on bedrest. When you thought I wasn't looking
WHEN YOU THOUGHT I WASN'T LOOKING A message every adult should read because children are watching you and doing as you do, not as you say. When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you hang my first painting on the refrigerator, and I immediately wanted to paint another one. When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you feed a stray cat, and I learned that it was good to be kind to animals. When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you make my favorite cake for me, and I learned that the little things can be the special things in life. When you thought I wasn't looking I heard you say a prayer,
Thankful
I know that I have missed a few days. I apologize.Day 14- Today I am Thankful that Tuff is able to play Basketball. My little boy is legally blind yet God has made a way for him to be able to play sports and have fun doing it. We try to instill in him that he can do anything and watching him out on that court I know that he believes it. I watched him play his very first Basketball game today and I was so proud that I felt like my heart would burst!!Day 15- Today I am Thankful for my Salvation. My salvation is priceless! I would rather be a pauper and be saved by grace, than a billionaire and be lost for eternity. It is true that there
Do not Worry
Lately I have been struggling with Fear and Worry over several different things. I have been trying to look up passages on Fear and Worry so that I can go over them and remind myself of what God's word says about Fear and Worry. Here is something I found on Worry. Therefore I say unto you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat, or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you put on. Is life more than food, and the body more than clothing?" Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?""Which of you by worrying can add one cubit t
