Over the past week...
I have been thankful for many things. I've just been too busy to post about them!I have been thankful that while both girls have been sick, both illnesses seemed to last only about 5-6 hours. I was also thankful that we were still able to go to our first Turkey dinner of the year and the weather was nice enough for the girls to play outside with their Papaw while we were there. I was also thankful that even though my car got crunched in an accident on Sunday, that noone was hurt and also that their insurance has agreed to cover my damage. Whew!Today I am most thankful that I don't have to work tomorrow or Thursday & that the time I do have to spend working on Friday

Yes, today I am thankful for pie. Particularly of the pumpkin variety. With Cool Whip, of course! Oh, and I have a feeling these thankful thoughts for seasonal yummies are far from over... Thanksgiving dinner #1 will commence in t-minus 3 days :o)

This weekend...
I was thankful for my beautiful family, unseasonably warm weather, time in the sunshine and time to do one of my favorite things: paint. Every time I hold a brush after a time away from it, I feel that old spark come alive. Oh, how I wish there were more hours in the day...

Today...
I am thankful that even though both kids went home from school "sick" yesterday, everyone seemed in good spirits & ready to head off to school this morning. Oh, and that the little one actually slept through the night, even though she has a mysterious "feverless" earache. :o)

*That* time of year is quickly approaching yet again. Just a couple of weeks until Thanksgiving & I completely forgot about my annual month of "thankfuls" in this space! I will try my best to remember to be thankful for the little things, as usual. Today I am thankful for my hubby. After all these years we are at this place where while we still have our arguments and day to day struggles, we know that we are always in this together, even if we think the other has temporarily lost their mind! hehe! I am thankful that he is supportive of my crazy ideas and even joins in on my excitement from time to time. I know that not everyone is as lucky as I am to have such a bond with such a great and u
