Pearl Ear Rings
With birthdays approaching in the next week, I took my mind in hand over the past several weeks to craft presents. I decided to make pearl ear rings with sterling silver wire, headpins, jump rings and ear wires. As is my usual design style, I prefer simple lines (not ornate). My muse thought of dangles with the pearl at the end of the wire, and this is the result:

Banded Agate Pendant
Spent most of the weekend playing in the streets (paramedic) and having fun. Needed to relieve some stress, so I got out my tools, stones and wire. This asymmetric pattern just seemed to fit the stone so well:So much fun to make.John

Breccia Cabochon Pendant
On this First Day evening, I finally thought of the design for a trapezoidal breccia cabochon pendant. The cabochon was cut several months ago, and I have been thinking about how to make it into some form of jewelry. Size and shape tended to make me think of a necklace pendant. Gathering my self and tools together finally, I used 21 gauge sterling silver square and half-round half-hard wire to form the pendant. Standing the trapezoid on end seemed to be the best shape. Making and designing jewelry is so much fun.

Black Pearl Necklace
Commissioned Necklace for the client's daughter's 21st Birthday. She had just returned from England where she was visiting her fiance. Matching bracelet was also made.We also have just returned from North Carolina and Tennessee where we mined for gemstones. Very disappointed with the fee mines in Franklin, NC.
