Today is the first day of this year's fundraiser and I'm raising my voice with the Marine Corps Fundraising Team, for Project Valour-IT.
What is Project Valour IT? Well, first you get the background... the story behind Valour-IT:
Project Valour-IT began when Captain Charles "Chuck" Ziegenfuss was wounded by an IED while serving as commander of a tank company in Iraq in June 2005.

This week, two South Carolina Republican Senators put their heads together and wrote a little op-ed in defense of Senator Jim DeMint for his practice of avoiding earmarks, a practice you would think needs no defense. But unfortunately, they didn't exactly express themselves well, and it backfired, with TMP Livewire running the story like this:

Really, consider this: Christopher Columbus had no idea where he was going, when he got there, he had no idea where he was, so he went home not knowing where he had been. And he did it all on government money!
