Boy Stories
The dig escaped yesterday. He has a special house he likes to go to. I sent the younger boys after him (I am too embarrassed to go after him anymore.) They returned with the dog and immediately disappeared again, with a bowl, into the woods.Unfortunately, I was not ready with the camera when they came back. This is an image I got off Google of what they returned with.For my non-Texan friends, they are prickly pears, the fruit of prickly pear cactus. They are edible.

Team Captains
Q's last year to play Pop Warner football. He's #31. He was starting quarter back. He scored one of our two goals this year. These are all the 6th grade boys on our team. He's played football with them for 5 years. They will be playing middle school ball next year. Forgot about Saturday Stream
Oops! Yesterday was the last Pop Warner football game we will ever play. We have had fun playing football for the last 5 years, but I am glad to be done with Pop Warner. On many levels, which you know and understand, if you have read my blog at all.Moe was sick all week last week, he got better Friday and Saturday, and woke up with fever again this morning. I'll have to take him to the doctor tomorrow.I am very excited about the new writing program we are using.
