Language: English
Topics: longboarding, skateboarding
Description: New "blog" version of my old website. Longboarding stuff. The original TLB evolved into bonelessone.com, but I've always had a soft spot for TLB. Plus, I hardly ever get on a board less than 36" long, so it makes sense.

Comet FSM Review and Video
I’m pretty late to the game with this review, as the FSM has been out for a while. But I just got mine, so here goes… A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to ride my friend Mike’s Comet FSM board, set up with Milehighskates.com Indy 215 Hybrids and Retro Freerides.  I kind of already knew I’d like the board, so when I took it out on Mike’s street, which is a nice downhill paved with super smooth asphalt, I wasn’t surprised that the board was great. Much like my Comet Pagan, but a bit sho

A couple of years ago I needed to film a nose manual (wheelie) for the Loaded Challenge, so  I went over to a local outdoor basketball court and set up the tripod. Decided to tape a few more tricks while I was at it. Love riding the Gravity Mini-Carve.  Its a real good board for this kind of stuff.  I’m one of those guys who always looks dorky in a helmet — but the Loaded guys wanted everyone in helmets, so here I am. I think I’m going to set the Mini-Carve back up and do some more of this stuff soon.
Nice Colors
Underground Racing Originally uploaded by T.MoE Saw this shot on Flickr today. Check out the larger size image. I love the colors in this shot, the low point of view, and the blur of the wheels. Those 80mm Kryptos are rad wheels. Wish Krypto would start making such wheels again.
Sunday rides
Got a few runs in at my normal spots today. Growing up mostly skating flatland, streets, and ramps, I’ve never really done a lot of hill skating until now. The best hill I have around here is feeling a lot better. I’m much more comfortable on it now, and I’m gonna push it for a bit more speed. After skating yesterday, I did some exploring and found another possibly good hill not too far away. I’ll try it out next weekend. Also got a tip from one of the higher-ups where I work as to the location of some good hills over on the west side of town. Will check it out. It finally got cold outside today. Time to go get some new army pants at the l
A new board, and some runs
Got my Comet FSM from milehighskates.com the other day, so today I got it out for some runs. Of course, as I’ve mentioned before, most of my hills here are pretty mild, but they mostly pretty nice for mellow carving. The board is set up with MHS Indy/Core hybrids, with nice soft bushings. Turns and rides really smooth, and is very low to the ground. I hit the few hills I normally ride up in Plano and had a pretty good time. I’m getting more comfortable with downhill now, so these hills don’t see
