In the dripping light of morningI saw the sea attack the shorelapping, loving, longing,coaxing her for moreThe woman dipped her foot inThe man he cleared his throatAnd with a simple motionHe pushed & launched the boatFor hours they drifted aimlesstowards the crease of sea and skyI watched them growing smallerI thought I heard a cry.And as the sun was settingcresting through the foamI saw the boat returningwith just the man alone.
